Noted Economist Darrick Hamilton, Aspen Institute Vice President Anne Mosle, Green New Deal Co-Author Rhiana Gunn-Wright, and National Women’s Law Center President/CEO Fatima Goss Graves, amongst other bold-faced names signing on for bold ideas

Washington, D.C.—On the heels of announcing a transformative new partnership with Melinda Gates’ investment and incubation firm, Pivotal Ventures, for the creation of a research and action hub to develop real-world solutions for women, IWPR has recruited influential leaders and experts for both its Board of Directors and a new, National Advisory Council. Comprising professionals from both the public and private sectors, Board and Council members will help IWPR advance innovative strategies to address the most pressing needs facing women, their families, and their communities.

New Board Members

With terms beginning immediately, the six new Board members will help guide the work of the Institute:

  • Nadia Allaudin, a senior vice president and Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management
  • Darrick Hamilton, Noted economist and executive director of the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at The Ohio State University
  • Anne Mosle, a vice president and executive director of Ascend at the Aspen Institute and co-chair of the Aspen Institute Forum on Women and Girls
  • Paula Sammons, program officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation
  • Damali Taylor, partner, O’Melveney, San Francisco
  • Rhiana Gunn-Wright, fellow, Roosevelt Institute

IWPR National Advisory Council

Called upon throughout the year to engage IWPR’s multiple initiatives and provide in-the-field perspective, the IWPR Advisory Council will include Dorian Warren, head of Community Change; Heather Boushey, founder and director of the Center for Equitable Growth; and Fatima Goss Graves, president/CEO of the National Women’s Law Center, among many others.
