Isis Manley

Isis Manley joins IWPR as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. She graduated from Bethune-Cookman University with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science, focusing on Sports-Fitness and Health. As a student-athlete on the women’s track and field team, she also conducted important research on depression in women athletes.

Following her passion for women’s rights, Isis moved to Capitol Hill, where she worked with three female members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). Starting as a legislative research intern, she progressed through various roles, gaining valuable experience in communications and policy.

Currently, Isis is a graduate student at George Washington University, pursuing a master’s in forensic science with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her goal is to develop policies that improve forensic procedures in cases of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

Outside of work, Isis enjoys traveling, exploring Thai and Korean cuisine, shopping, and spending time with friends.
