Amanda Teuscher is the communications manager at IWPR, where she brings several years of experience in communications, press, and content strategy. Prior to joining IWPR, Amanda led the communications and content strategy for American Oversight, a nonpartisan organization that fights for the public’s right to government records. There, she managed a team of content creators and press managers, garnered frequent coverage in both national and local publications, and oversaw the creation of content cited by the news media, national organizations, and congressional investigators. Previously, she spent several years as an editor at the American Prospect, where she oversaw the magazine’s print production schedule and wrote and edited a wide range of policy-focused articles. Amanda graduated with honors from Ohio University with degrees in both journalism and political science.
