Ali Yasser Arwand joined the Institute for Women’s Policy Research in November of 2022 and serves as the Human Resource Specialist. Yasser is a young professional with over seven years of progressive experience including recruiting, human resource, and project management. Yasser is a results-focused individual with a demonstrated history of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Prior to joining IWPR, Yasser has worked in several key roles as Director of People Management and Operations and National Vice President of human resources. He has been fortunate to work for government, non-governmental, and multilateral organizations through his career. Yasser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public policy and administration from Kabul University.
