Pamela Alvarado is an IWPR Research Assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan, where she solidified her commitment to equitable policy as a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Her academic and professional interests are centered on using economic analysis to advance gender equity, with a specific focus on economic policy, education, immigration rights, and antitrust causes. Outside of work, Pamela enjoys traveling, exploring museums, and going to concerts—often combining all three when visiting a new city. She also enjoys biking, reading, and spending time with friends.
