Lucie Prewitt is a Research Associate at the Institute for Women’s Policy Research. She graduated with her Master’s in Economics at American University and was a part of the Program for Gender Analysis in Economics (PGAE). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from Southern Methodist University. Lucie has previously worked as a Research, Teaching, and Communications Assistant for the Care Work and the Economy Project and as a Graduate Assistant at the Kogod School of Business at American University. Lucie’s previous research explored the care economy as well as the differential effects of conditional aid on marginalized populations, specifically analyzing maternal health outcomes.
